When I was younger, I listened to Hip Hop exclusively. I didn't appreciate any other genres or even bother listening to them. Then when I got a littler older in 2007, T-Pain, R. Kelly, & The-Dream were popular so I listened to their songs I'm A Flirt & Shawty Is A 10. I loved those songs and became interested in R&B. I ventured into the genre and found some amazing music. I'm 16 now and I listen to some Rock, Reggaeton, Bachata, Pop, mostly Hip Hop, but I like R&B the most. I find it so much easier to relate to and it takes a lot more to make a good R&B song than a Hip Hop song. Imo, singing > rapping and because of R&B, I went from only rapping to singing and playing piano too. The Holy Trinity in R&B to me are Frank Ocean, The-Dream, & The Weeknd :allears: I also really like JMSN & Miguel :datass: does anybody else like R&B better doe? inb4"noIonlylistentotheweeknd"

If you're talking about historically which is the better genre, then R&B is better.

Al, Marvin, Stevie, and Whitney>>>>>>>>Big, Pac, Jay, and Nas

It depends. Frank and Abel are certainly more creative/interesting to listen to than 99% of hip-hop artists.
Soulo Ho3
Rap game Ted Danson.

hip-hop is my fav genre but Biggy & Pac aren't even my fav artists. i'd rather take Wu-Tang, Kast, Yeezy, Jay E, Clipse, Mobb Deep, Mos and more over them both anyday.
