HHNM: I know you have worked with artists outside of Rap as well. What is your most memorable studio session?

Andrew Dawson: Wow, you’re asking me some tough ones (laughs). I can’t pin point one session but the stretch of sessions for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy were amazing. You know, just the stream of talent which was coming in the studio to work on the album. Some people you wouldn’t expect to come by the studio and hang out. Like one day it was Brandon Flowers (from The Killers) at the studio. Next day we had Elton John coming by. The next day we had Rihanna. Like all in a span of probably just a week. It was really cool.

lol i mean everybody goes to watch the magic happen, look at all the stories and videos: seal, russell crowe, elton john, i could go on forever.  i remember hearing something from Cyhi talking about how you never know who might be in the studio if kanye's recording, **** around one day you might see kobe one day, the next day you might see jay-z

Andrew Dawson, Anthony Kilhoffer, Jeff Bhasker, Ken Lewis, Manny Marroquin, Mike Dean, and Noah Goldstien are seriously a billion dollar pre & post-production staff in my eyes. I thank them for Kanye music just as equally as I do Kanye, cause if it wasn't for them...Kanye West's music simply wouldn't be at the quality it is today.
