1. Sarkozy has good foreign policy ideas - and the confidence to get people to listen to him. Hollande has ZERO experience and ZERO charisma.
2. Hollande's policies will ruin France economically ...
- Putting the retirement age down to 60? Lowest in Europe? How's France gonna pay for that?
- Hollande will allow unrestricted immigration. The country can't handle more unemployed immigrants.
- Hollande has NO plans of how to deal with national debt or revive industry.
- He's talking about extending social benefits for the unemployed by months - how is the state gonna pay for that? It's already one of the most generous social security schemes IN THE WORLD.
3. Hollande is the worst kind of champagne socialist. Grew up in a rich part of the country, born into a rich family. Lived a life of privilege and now he's claiming to represent the French working class? Get out! lol

I am based in Taiwan so I'm not really sure about how politics work in Europe.
All I know is that, we can consider most European nations to be somewhat socialist with their healthcare, unemployment benefits etc.
Have also been reading that the far right is on the rise somewhat in Europe again due to mass Muslim immigration.

Yeah far right is getting pretty big all across Europe...
I believe that socialism is really our legacy. especially in France, all we done after WWII was in order to build a fair social country !
Unfortunately politics weren't so good and this kind of system leads to huge spendings a need a large budget; so more taxes... But I think we have to fight to keep this kind of system, okay when you live in France you have to pay higher taxes but man healthcare is awesome, you can go to college without a loan and I think that's it's the fairest system, it makes the country look like a huge family that put money in the same bank account and whenever someone is in need he can take some money...
The thing is, no system is perfect and this leads to miusues, and maybe that's why French have the reputation to be lazy ass because how easy they have it....
But I truly believe France has the best social policy !

Maybe he hasn't lead the best policy in order to reduce the debt these last 4 years but it's actually RPR and UMP who were in charge from 1985 to 2008
