The Thunder have 3 scorers and that's it. If you shut down ONE of them they loose the game. They have no other option in the scoring section, and can't play defense if their shots aren't falling certain nights.

Have you ever watched a thunders game??????????????? In a playoffs series we can play more then good enough defence and in order to win we just need 2 scorers going. Since the all star break our defence has been phenominal . Even when we lost against the grizzles last night we held them to a low scoring average most of the game. Before the last 3 minutes of the game we were of 12/20 far off our average number of freethrows made.


THE BULLS ON THE OTHER HAND have a team called the Miami Heat in the east that can shut them down even if chicago has the home court advantage. The heat can take Derrick Rose out of the game. From there there is no other 2nd option as boozer chokes in the playoffs and deng is a slightly above average player who only achieves his stats with very high minutes.  They are easier to be disected then the Thunder. The only glaring weakness i see on the Oklahoma CIty Thunder is the lack of a low post scorer other than westbrook and durant occasionally posing up. Without that we have 3 great defensive players in our starting liineup  and 2 great scorers. We have harden off the bench along with d fish,collision,reggie jackson,maynor(next year when he heals),Daequaen cook,and nazr mohhamed. With the improvment of our defence lately we can easily take out the bulls

how the **** are you going to compare westbrook to rose?

first of all, westbrook is stupid as ****. he takes MORE shots than durant. does chalmers take more shots than lebron? no.

durant is the best scorer on the thunder and pretty much the best scorer in the league this season. westbrook has a ego complex and tries to be the hero. he needs to realize he's robin and that durant is batman.

you can't say rose takes a lot of shots too cause really, who the **** else is going to score? boozer? deng? noah? no. they can only do so much.

can you imagine if westbrook played with lebron and took more shots than lebron? that would be stupid as ****

i give props to durant for having patience with westbrook, and not going off when westbrook takes stupid shots. durant clearly deserves mvp.

the only person who is stopping durant from winning mvp isn't lebron, it's westbrook.

LMFAO for real though, Westbrook had more touches of the ball than Durant in last years playoffs and that's not good lol, even though Westbrook improved this year, he can be sloppy and wild at times.

However, the Thunder have the SPURS who have beaten them all this season. So your Miami example is nullified. Since, we've actually beat Miami this season. And it looks like your looking into last season as a barometer for Miami "being able to shut us down". The Miami Heat and Chicago bulls are not the same teams from last year. Did Miami shut rose down the one time he played them this season? No. He had 30+ points.

I know it Kevin Durant but what i'm trying to get at is that rose is only a slight notch better then westbrook in his understanding of the game and killer instinct.  They play the same game only rose is more under control. But as a team the Thunder are more potent as Durant and Harden almost shoot near 50% and westbrook is 47.7%

westbrook can easily average 10 assists per game if he wanted to but instead he takes more shots than durant. only a slight notch? westbrook is that pg who would (and did) take the final shot with durant on the floor to pass to. rose would not do that. the dude even passed to scalabrine to try to win the game

The formula for winning a championship is set in stone. Without a legit 2nd option the bulls can not beat the Oklahoma city thunder . The spurs are only problem as they have more depth then any other team this season and i give resepect to Greg popovich as he can coach any other coach out the park

We have 3 guys on the floor who are second options. They may not be legit, but they all support rose to a point where we are 31-5 with rose. Who was dirks legit 2nd option last year? Your narrow perspective of how to win a championship is narrow minded.

FTR the Thunder are 20-4 when Westbrook takes more shots than Durant.Durant even came out and said it was good that he took more shots to put pressure on the defense so he could have spacing to work and score more efficiently.
