It seems like everyone is hellbent on speaking about how badly this movie will fail. They should have waited for the summer.

I liked this movie. It's sum of the parts is excellent. The acting is good, the effects amazing, and the story is exciting.I would definitely suggest this movie to everyone. The movie produces a lot of memories from some of the popular movies with the same generation.

Wow, I loved this.  I liked this better than the last three Pirates of the Caribbean films, if they are at all comparable.  It was far better than Prince of Persia.  I don't understand why the public was so weary of it.  I am a fan of Edgar Rice Burroughs' novel, although this film does stray from it at time, though not dramatically.  I feel like Disney predetermined the failure of its own film by giving it an early March release.  This film felt like a May-July release, that should have had a much bigger marketing campaign with toys at McDonalds, etc.  It doesn't help that the ideas present in Burroughs novel have been endlessly represented by other filmmakers, so most people who know nothing about Burroughs think this film is copying others.

exactly my sentiments. the reason this movie sucked at the Box office is cuz the marketing was TERRIBLE. i only vaguely heard of it back when it came out, this movie is actually great, def give it a chance
