ahhhh i used to hate that, and ur too scared to go back to sleep. try to drink milk before you go to bed it usually helps slow your system down and makes you more relaxed

Thanks! You got any other tips? Ive been really shaky when getting into bed recently :/

i highly reccomend it. i bought this book a while back (wish i could remember the name, sorry) and it teaches you how to self meditate, to sum it up you basically have to record yourself or someone saying an excersize from the book (im sure u can find it on an audio cd that comes with a book) it basically tells you to lay down in a comfortable position, close your eyes, then one by one you tighten up all your muscles and then let them loose, then you imagine yourself walking down stairs and honestly its an unexplanable feeling, they call it the "alpha state" its the closest thing to sleep while still being conscious, you feel so relaxed and you imagine yourself in a happy place, you sit there quietly for about 5 minutes and then you tell yourself you feel great and in perfect health a few times and then you open your eyes, i know it sounds strange but if you do it correctly it really helps your mind. i highly reccomend checking it out

Idk i think i may have a bit of this. I over think i had something happen a couple yrs ago nd because of it i choose to do homeschooling which has kind of ruined my life... I'm supposed to be in gr.11 and im doing all gr.10 courses im back at a reg. school but im allowed to do both. Im stressed out a lot i do in a way panic i guess. When im stressed i just don'
t want to go to school or do anything i feel worthless cause i just cant be all upbeat and stuff. Idk i think i may had sads or something cause it happends when the seasons change more.When i was homeschooled i shut my friends out for like a year would see them every couple weekends but thats it i still kind of do. I had anxiety about going to public places and stuff though im not as abd now it stipp happends the odd time. Idk whats wrong with me but i wanna know now so i can get a bit of control over my life. I always seem to push ppl away like i know i need some help or w.e. but i just well avoid friends when they call nd stuff. And my mom asks if im depressed and i say no but i really am... I'm just not as talkative and stuff as i used to be. I'm an only child so im starting to think that has more of a role because ive had no brothers or sisters around me my whole life ive been alone so i dont mind being alone and stuff but idk.

yea it seems like you have some anxiety which can lead to depression symptons, i advise to see a doctor and tell him/her how you feel and all of that, he will give you something that will most likely help you out alot. if your not willing to be on meds then you can get some therapy or even learn to self meditate, it helps you learn to relax and ease your mind, and also try to eat healthy, and excersize often, you will see results almost immediately

A good tip for people that suffer from anxiety(myself included) stay away from any form of caffeine if you are going anywhere.  Caffeine will only make it worse.

It just makes you more alert, hyper, whatever you wanna call it.  It may not do anything to you but it definitely makes my anxiety worse if I'm going anywhere.  So basically I stay away from coffee, soda, etc. if I'm going anywhere.

oh i see what you mean now. And me too i stay way from that stuff, Just broke routine and had coffee the other dat tho to try and stay up

Yea I stay away from caffeine completely.
