ANNOUNCEMENT Ubisoft has officially confirmed Assassin's Creed 3, announcing the game alongside an October 30 release date. CEO Yves Guillemot delivered the news in a conference call with investors this afternoon. "Assassin's Creed 3 is the true next generation of both the Assassin's Creed brand and interactive entertainment/storytelling in general," the exec said. The game has apparently been in development for three years according to Guillemot, which we're hoping means it's not set in Italy again. He went on to say the publisher's investing more heavily in the game than in any other title in the series - and that he expects it to outperform the seven million selling Assassin's Creed: Revelations. |

i doubt it's going to be in Italy again since Ezio gave up being an assassin...probably going to be in Russia, France, or Britain...maybe even Germany
