Yeah, it was already confirmed by Frankie to be fake, and I highly doubt that the DMR and this artstyle would make Halo 4.

When you put it that way, it describes the plot of every action game and movie ever made. Besides, as I said, we know very little about the game. However, given the quality of the new released novel, and Frankie's interest in developing this new trilogy with more emphasis on the novels, the plot should be an improvement over the rest of the series.
