Yeah i know what you mean. He'd look better if the rest of Black Hippy wasnt so amazing. He's still a hard rapper though, and his voice goes well with the Black Hippy collaboration tracks.

if i had to pick my favorite Jay Rock verse it would be this one:

his is last after Kendrick (who also has a fire verse) plus this **** just bangs in the whip.

I agree in that Jay Rock is my least favorite of the four, but I can't exactly pinpoint why.  Might just be that he doesn't seem as fun or charismatic as the other members, or that they are better friends and he's the odd man out. Or maybe its because he's also signed to Strange so that creates some sort of separation. 

Either way seems like he is commonly the least favorite, I wonder if he knows this.

What are yall's reasons for not liking Jay Rock as much as the rest of Black Hippy?

What I was thinking exactly! Jesus we think alike haha ****. Yeah I think Jay Rock's problem is that he's outdated. Most of the tracks on Follow Me Home sounded like they would be hot 10+ years ago. Aside from a few standouts, (Just Like Me, Hood Gone Love It, & Say Wassup). And don't get me wrong, I love a lot of classic 90's rap such as Nas, Jigga, Pac, and so on... its just that his sound is too outdated and not classic enough to still be appreciated like the greats of the 90's. That's just my opinion.
