Speaking of psychology-related books I would like to read:

Games People Play
The Psychopath Test

Not sure of the authors off the top of my head but I know they've been on my radar for awhile now.

Definitely want to take a look at The Psychopath Test!

I've finished Catch-22 and The Catcher In The Rye during this month. Catch-22 is definitely my favorite of the two, one of my favorite novels of all time tbh. It was just so ****ing hilarious. TCITR was good too, but I kind of got fed up with all of Holden's whining all the ****ing time in all honesty... I guess I just can't identify with him. Great book too though.

Now I'm starting on Slaughterhouse-Five, and following that up with The Great Gatsby :work:

I got Slaughterhouse and Catch 22, but never read them. Tell me how they are. I really wasn't a big fan of Gatsby like everyone else is. And I agree with you about TCITR... Kid was always so depressed and upset that it just annoyed me.

Good Lordy I just finished Life of Pi. Wow...what a book. What an adventure.

Someone tell me what they got out of that ending cause it kind of left me stumped but not really.

Can someone recommend me a novel about parties, concerts, the fashion industry, Hollywood, contemporary themes in pop culture, something satirical that is well written, long, and pays extreme attention to detail?

Basically something very similar to this.

This was of the best books I've ever read and, consequently, one of my very favorites.

Other novels I want to read that I think may or may not share thematic similarities.

How about Point Counter Point by Aldous Huxley?
Reading it now and i can say it goes pretty well into detail by the way Huxley writes.
It's Huxley's satiric view of intellectual life in the 1920s; also based on celebrities during the time.

9/10
A great read, goes into some depth to explain the origins of human sexuality, provides counter arguments on monogamy and how it became the norm for humans to pair up. Depending on your experiences in life, there will be a lot of reflection throughout this book, it will seemingly make sense of instances you've had, and makes good logical arguments.
