He has the ability to throw a punch, and the air transforms into a giant tiger made of air that explodes and causes a giant shockwave. No chakra assist, just a punch. Keep in mind he has the ability to use chakra techniques, he just chooses not to.

i never said tsunade is faster than gai, but she is definitely stronger and has better jutsus and counters to hold against gai
