Barnes could essentially be a Glen Rice type player in the league, which is ****ing great for us.
He'll have a good career, but in Cleveland though.

Any chance of Steve Nash coming home lol

The Pacers are an example of this team needs to be, no superstar just good players with solid coaching

Depends. If we get the 3rd pick for instance, I say we draft Robinson, get rid of either ED or Amir (more than likely it would be Amir)

We would make a decision on Andrea in the years after. I still think that he's 110% on this team next season cause you can'y just take away his importance on the offensive end to this team.

Robinson is horrible

Are you kidding me? The Kid will be as good as Paul Millsap in three years and can shoot the 3point shot. i dont know what you've been watching, but it hasnt been his games.

hes undersized and his post game is weak against defenders taller than him

My post from real gm today:

As far as the Raptors go, I really feel that bringing in another rookie this year whether it's at the PG/SF/ spot is a good idea but at our selection spot I believe we will have to draft a PG Marshall or Lillard. I hear rumblings of us signing Steve Nash for big money, but what's the point of that if Jose comes off the bench for him and we still have not addressed our issue at the SF position. If we did so it would be a clear indication that we are no longer in a tank now mode as there is no way you have Steve Nash on a roster and your main goal is just getting to the playoffs. I'm aware that the East is very weak right now but I think that this team can afford to go through the motions and build internally(not tank) and experience wise like the Sixers did for at least two more seasons but we need to bring in long term guys and stick with them. We shouldn't be bringing in 4 or 5 new players to the roster every season. Don't make signings that you are not 100% sure fit the mold, culture, and vision of the team and I think this time BC/Stefanski understand this. I'm a Damian Lillard guy but my heart tells me that long term, Kendall Marshall might be the PG that we need to make everyone better on our team, as we have trouble bringing in star FA, we need a guy who can maximize everyone's potential on the floor.

At the end of the day, this was a poorly run organization (and the same regime still remains) but I believe they are trying to change their culture and I trust them to do so. But a bit of luck with the ping pong balls this year would really speed up the process.

I especially agreed with what you said about the change of direction. I agree BC is FINALLY starting to realize how to build this team. He has a plan in place, and it would almost be ludicrous for MLSE to get rid of him.

As for the Lillard/Marshall argument, I love both, buit I've been higher on Marshall for a lot longer. It's honestly a toss-up, but I feel like the Raptors might go for Lillard due to his explosiveness. I would LOVE Marshall though.

Also, unrelated note, but why do some people on RealGM think we can get Rudy Gay???? Am I missing something? LOL

Lol, they're crazy, a lot of them are thinking that we can get James Harden to come here. They have a 10+ page thread on James Harden trending. We will be a team forced to develop our star talent through the draft and get the glue guys and role players through free agency. "Until we build it, they won't come"

I agree. Like it always puzzles me when some members are like, "Rudy Gay for our first rounder and Ed Davis"

LMFAO who in their right mind makes that deal!?!?

I think we're gonna be built similar to Indiana/Philly. No "superstars" per se but we'll play excellent defense, good "glue guys" and we'll be competitive.
