Reminder: Kanye West Nominated for 8 Grammy Awards Tonight
As we reported in December, Kanye is up for 8 Grammy Awards at tonight’s show, including Song of the Year for “All of the Lights” and two nominations for Best Rap Album.
The show takes place tonight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live in the U.S. on CBS at 8pm EST.

I feel like it would get caught in this whirlwind of hype. [Wayne] agreed. We just said, ‘If we do it, we’ll do it down the line. But right now is not the time.
Kanye West and Jay-Z Receive “Watch the Throne” Platinum Plaques
After their show at Madison Square Garden on Monday, Kanye and Jay-Z were presented with a pair of giant platinum plaques for Watch the Throne, marking two million records sold worldwide.
The album sold 436,000 copies in its first week in the US alone, and reached #1 on the Billboard 200.
